Anyone ever use single wall 26ga pipe for inlet air on a condensing boiler?

Either have I. I'm switching a 5 year old Hasco (never heard of before) with a Lochenvar. I've got 4in cpvc for the exhaust, and 6in single wall pipe for the intake. About 30ft total, 20ft on the vertical. Lochenvar has it listed in the manual, provided all joints and seams are sealed. Running 4in pipe into 6in, should be Ok. But would like to know of any issues, before hand.0
