Radiator bleeder question

Hi guys, I just installed an old cast iron hot water radiator. The placement of the air bleeder seems suspicious to me. I also uncovered a plug in top right corner, which may or may not be where the bleeder should be. I have more questions but I will leave it at this for now. I would like some thoughts on the image. thanks

It must have been used for steam in it's previous life. That is the location of the vent on a steam system. You want to plug that and use the bleeder location you found at the top.1
