This was recently brought to my attention by one of my customers

https://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/atq/5882499640.html

I've never seen up personally. I'd love to see what it looks like behind the doors.

I have a perfect spot in my house....just not the bucks! adamfre: Do those doors have glass in them?

@PinkTavo it does have glass. One has a tiny crack across the corner, but otherwise it's in good shape! My wife intends to try it out during Thanksgiving.

Have you put an oven thermometer in there, to see how hot it gets?

The radiator in the Craigslist ad looks like a Detroit Ornamental Fluted Dining Room Radiator, made by American Radiators. Here's the original literature (attached). Sorry it's a little blurry, but it says they "are an indispensable adjunct to any well-appointed dining room, serving as a dish or food warmer. The oven or closet contains three shelves or racks, each 25 1/2 inches long, 12 3/4 inches wide, with 8 3/4 inches space between each."

Just in time for Thanksgiving dinner!

Here's the whole catalog from 1897: https://heatinghelp.com/heating-museum/1897-american-radiator-company-catalog/ Thanks, @Steamhead for sharing it with us!
