Outdoor wood furnace

I have an outdoor wood furnace and it runs 175 feet to my house in 1 1/4" pipe then I have it going to 3 furnaces each with their own water to air exchanger for 3 different zones. WOULD the soon burner run more efficient if I put a plate exchanger in the house and made the house side a closed loop with a separate circulator on each furnace instead of circulating the whole loop

The heat exchanger is intended to separate the outdoor, open system from the distribution in the home. Open systems are prone to corrosion and sludging.
The HX will not increase efficiency, per say, you will take some heat transfer penalty through the exchanger, but it will prevent problems down the road.
Good info about heat exchangers and ODF in this journal, pages 18-
