Flair Radiator Air Vents Model #71 & 73

We found 2 Flair Maunufacturing Corp. straight air vent on my brother's single-pipe steam radiators, and were wondering if anyone knew the venting capacity for the model #71 & #73 by chance-see attatched photo. They're not listed in any of the books we saw (Gill & Pajek, Holohan), just a note that the Flair model #51 is obsolete under the Venting Capacities chart. Also, they have a 90 degree elbow to fit at an angle, since they are straight vents. We're tempted to replace them with angled vary vents and avoid that elbow-any thoughts on this, or why they used an elbow? It could be a reducing elbow?

I was able to call the Flair manufacturing co, and they told us that the dates were the manufacturing dates 1971 & 1973. They also said they have the same CFM as the obsolete #51 model in the chart, so I guess that solves our questions.0
