Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

I saw that on NBC news last night... scary stuff.
Is it bad copper, bad water... or both?0 -
We don't know, Rob. It's all over the neighborhood.Retired and loving it.0

Are they using L copper for domestic instead of M? We had problems here in Mass years ago, and it became the law of the land that if copper for potable water, L it is. M is still good for heating, and has really never been an issue in a closed system0

I think it was late 80's here that it was at it's worst for pinholes. Crap copper pipe springing leaks in new homes within a year

I have had pinholes from flux in the cold water pipe only as mentioned above. House was 10 years old and popping pin holes. That's why I use NOKARODE.
Nokorode makes water washable flux now. Amherst Ma has bad water. They use K tubingup there and still have problems.
Long Island sounds like a different problem though0
