Was searching local craigslist and came across a biasi b10-3 boiler. Would love to have this over my peerless wb3. Could do a slow install swap with help from you guys come this spring!

1) should i stay away from used? Says it was removed for being too small with an addition being added to the house.

2) it has a gas riello and i only have oil, is there a conversion kit or i would need a new burner?

Thanks for any tips.

I'd be nervous about buying anything used on Craig's list. Could've been underwater, cracked block, anything. And you wouldn't know until you piped it up, filled it up, and started it up.

If it had an oil burner on it, and someone did a gas conversion, it might be worth looking into, but this already has a gas burner, so buyer beware as to why it has been yanked out

Why not contact the seller and ask why he's getting rid of it?

Prolly best to buy new if i go for a 3 pass boiler.

Now if i do buy one, can i just swap the new biasi in place of my peerless with minimal piping?
Id like to leave the circ and zone valve setup and not change how the c/w fill is on the return side. I would make sure there is 18"s before the scoop. Could this work or is this piping incorrect and should all be changed?
