    Another reason I don't like to tap: This vent is leaking and needs to be capped. Big Mouths will be added further down the line.

    Anyone giving odds on my successfully capping without breaking the nipple out of the casting?

    Why can't you drill the pipe and MIG weld a bushing on it?

    @Paul48 He's not going to use that location for the new vents. He just wants to get the old vent off and cap that location.
