Went pretty well, I think.

As mentioned a couple weeks ago, a Peerless 63-04 with a single drop header. I was probably getting carried away thinking a double drop header on a boiler that small?

I didn't use a vaporstat, only a pressuretrol, and have it set at its very lowest setting. Radiators heated up quickly and quietly.

May have over-killed it on the vents too.

Thanks. I wouldn't call myself a steam guy yet but it's a start. It was fun and stressful (outside my comfort zone) and very educational.

My bucket list just got smaller.

Thanks to all you steam guys for the huge assist!

Thanks again. I attacked this with thought of not embarrassing myself or you guys.

Charlie G. and Chris J., thanks guys, for answering some questions behind the scenes.

This place has been steaminghelp.com for me the last couple months - rereading Dan's books, hanging out in the "Steam" section and reading all the threads and posts, messaging and emailing the steam pros and one steam "non-pro" who lives and breathes steam.

This stuff (steam) is really, really cool! Put your hand on a cold steam supply main, one second it's cool, the next second it's blazing. 0 to 60 RIGHT NOW. Controls are completely different, piping is completely different, everything is SO different than hot water and radiant. Other than the pipe fitting, it's a completely different world.
