HWH Power Vent, Long Vertical Vent?

Trying to plan vent run for 76k btu power vented HWH, and hearing different opinions on venting.
Some say I can run the 3" pvc vent the 27ft up above roofline strapped to exterior of house.
Some say the blower will not be able to push out the cold dense air in colder months and will have massive condensation to manage.
Any ideas on this? Can it be done? Insulate the vent pipe?
Thanks

Find the I/O manual for the brand you are thinking of and see what they say. It will vary.

Relatively certain most if not all manufacturers would recommend to limit the amount of piping exposed to the elements...Flue gas condensation is not your friend in winter...LANGAN'S PLUMBING & HEATING LLC
