My PSI keeps increasing after I let water out.

You can find a gauge for confirming the pressure that will attach to a standard boiler drain thread. Like this https://www.amazon.com/Watts-DP-IWTG-Pressure-Garden/dp/B000YMU8JC#Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

Dual failure is more common than you would realize. Question is the relief valve a 30psi or 45 psi? Gauges going to zero does not mean they wor, just they go to zero. It does not mean they read the right pressure when pressurized. Ask me how I know, lol.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

My pressure release valve is a watts 30 psi 375,000 btu.
I have all 3 zones turned off and the water supply turned off to the system with the pressure remaining at 20 psi for the time being. Is this safe for the system?
I was going to replace the pressure release valve and feeder as I believer those two parts are faulty.
When replacing those two parts is there anything else besides replacing the parts that needs to be done?
How can I tell if my expansion tank is no good?
Thanks0 -
When the system presssure is zero check the schrader valve on the expansion tank.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

What should the Schroeder valve be doing?0

The Schrader valve should read 12 to 15 psi.Cost is what you spend , value is what you get.

You check the air pressure at the schrader valve. In a typical system you want about 12 psi of air pressure in the tank while the system pressure is at zero. Your fill valve should then also be set to charge the system pressure to 12 psi.0

When you say fill valve is that the same a pressure regulator valve? The valve that regulates the water flowing into the system?
Is there a special tool that can measure the air pressure at the Schroeder valve?0 -
Yes, a ties pressure gage…0
