Hello, after searching the forums, the contractors search feature, angieslist and google, I cannot find a steam heating expert plumber that serves my area in Belmont, MA just a few miles outside Boston. The expert contractors seem to be north or south of my area. Any listing in my area merely mentions steam heating and does not seem to specialize in it. Im looking for a plumber to assess my two systems (own a multi-family) as heating has been slow and inconsistent to the rads in the upstairs unit. I have an 88 Weil-McLain and 03 Burnham gas boilers in a one pipe system. The 88 WC has 2 Gorton #2 main vents serving 6 rads on the first floor and the 03 Burnham as 1 Gorton #2 main vent serving 1 first floor rad, 6 second floor rads, and a 1 third floor rad (with one main vent I think another one is needed). The Burnham unit with the slow heating has all new Hoffman 1A vents on the rads set to various speeds through trial and error. Any recommendations on contractors? Thanks
