Importance of wet return location on steam boiler 112500 BTU input

Hi. Need to understand wet return pipe connection location.
Manufacture diagram shows return all the way on the end of "main steam pipe" , but in constrain space I would like to same location as one of the 2 entrance from boiler but on the bottom.
Please see manufactures diagram, and dry run piping with desired location of drop to "harford" loop/boiler return.
