Would you call that a "double header"?0

Someone went to a lot of extra effort to do it wrong didn't they? With all the new piping I see they could have brought those mains down to the new header individually and with roughly the same amount of pipe and fittings they used. At least the piping on the boiler looks like minimum spec...if you ignore pipe sizes. lol0

So, what if we were to Holohanitize it?
Something like this perhaps?

Hey RI, can you post back around January with a performance update? Maybe a little before/after gas usage, plus some happy comments from the homeowner.
ThanksThere was an error rendering this rich post.

I will! Promise. The owner is very detail orientated (as you would expect from someone who has their boiler re-piped) and keeps records of usage by degree day. He promised to share the data with me. I was thinking though to wait until heating season was over to post it. If it's like my others, should see pretty big savings.New England SteamWorks
