just started this steam boiler 2 questions
1 after the hartford loop can I just press it with propress
2 Anything wrong with just using one drop down manifold instead of 2, its a small job.
the manifold is 2-1/2 then went to a 2 inch take off then a 1 1/2 take off then a 2 inch take off . the 1-1/2 take off is only for 1 small rad on first floor. originally they had 2 2 inch off the manifold and one of the 2 inch teed into the third pipe , I make it look a little neater

OK so keep the heartford loop and the return 1.5 inches that was my next question is could I reduce to one inch, maybe i will just stick with the black pipe.0

I wouldn't reduce the return to 1". You need to size the return to the EDR. If the deadmen used 1.5" I'd keep it at 1.5".Snowmelt said:OK so keep the heartford loop and the return 1.5 inches that was my next question is could I reduce to one inch, maybe i will just stick with the black pipe.
