? L8124A and L6006A both for my dual fuel coal/oil boiler (hot water)

Do I really need to keep the L6006A installed in the top of the steam chest and wired in parallel
with the 24 volt TT terminals when I install the new Honeywell L8124A or can I just leave
the L8124A to handle everything? I do not plan on running the boiler on coal hotter than 140 degrees
Fahrenheit on the high limit anyway and 120 on the low limit side with a 10 degree differential.
Thanks much
