Uponor Pro Pex Fittings

I have some older Uponor copper to pex fittings which have tarnished over time. I'd like to know what the pro's use to clean them up on the pex side before connecting the pex up?

If you can't feel any roughness with your fingers, there's not enough to cause an issue with the PEX seal (unless you have massively calloused fingertips.)0

I've used a standard wire wheel on the bench grinder.0

Great, if that works well for you. But I would be wary of that. If I were to feel that I need to clean it, I would probably use one of liquid copper/brass cleaners.0
