Dan, I just love it when we are able to help contractors discover the true results of what thy think are simple modifications. As this story shows, what was thought as something simple and not thought through completely caused major damage to a structure. I hope the contractor that made that piping change had good insurance and that he still has insurance! Something of that magnitude might cause him to be "uninsurable". Thanks for sharing.
