    Compliance with the amended standards established for residential boilers in this final rule is required on and after [INSERT DATE 5 YEARS AFTER DATE OF PUBLICATION IN THE FEDERAL REGISTER]
    seems to indicate that it has yet to be published?

    It was published on 1/29/2016, takes effect 1/29/2021. Unless there is a lawsuit.....

    have you ever seen so much "BS" in one spot and we are paying them to shovel it. People wonder why the economy is shrinking !

    Standing pilots are forbidden? They consume miniscule energy, particularly if they are turned of in the summer, and are easier to maintain and troubleshoot than electronic versions.

    I think (hope) my old boiler will go well beyond that 2021 date. It's only a little over 60 years old :)

    You think the DOE residential boiler regulations is the reason the economy is shrinking?

    Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.
