Propress/Baseboard

Found a couple threads from the past but no concrete answer. I am re piping a house that froze and putting in all new baseboard. Can I use press fittings on the thinner wall baseboard tubing? Anyone have a bad experience?

Ive done them too numerous times with no problems. ....but i started to use these Viega inserts....
