Indirect with heat pump water heater

Need to replace my hot air furnace and water tank, both oil. I am considering a oil boiler and high velocity air for heating. I will be adding a/c . I already have one HV with a/c in part of the house which I run off of the current water tank. There is no gas available, propane is too expensive, so oil and electric are my power choices. Oil being the cheapest. Vaughn offers a heat pump water tank with an optional indirect coil. I am thinking this would allow be to use the indirect in the heating season and the heat pump in the cooling season and both on the shoulders. Any thoughts. Electricity is about $0.18 per KWH.
