Main air vent installed at an angle

I added a second Gorton #2 to one of the two legs because this leg is ~50-60' of pipe run away from the boiler. I installed them at about 45 degrees off from vertical . Us this ok our do I need them 100 % vertical? Thanks.

They should be vertical so that they open and close properly. At a 45 degree angle, they may even hold a little water as well.
