Hydronic banging noise/Contractor referral

Hi,

Recently our hydronic heating system started banging in random areas through out the building. I believe our expansion tank is water logged and we plan to repair after the heating season. My plumber has installed air valves on the main in/out supply to building. My questions is, Is there a way for me to purge the system of air mid season without shutting off the heating? Can anyone recommend a good contractor? ( I called Gateway, they are not taking on new work. Good for them!)
