in Domestic Hot Water
We have a rinnai ru98 that has worked great for three years. Last week for the first time the water would not warm up. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in and everything seemed to work fine again. About a week later the same thing happened. The unit was flashing error code 11. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in and it is working again. I have a feeling it will happen again soon.I read through the manual and saw that it can be the igniter. how do I test the igniter to see if that is the issue. Thanks for any advice.

    the igniter may just need a good cleaning. use a dollar bill to clean off any reside. The manual should tell you what covers to pull off to gain access.
