LP Gas Line Size After Regulator- Lochinvar WH55

As many may remember, I've had a problem with harmonic combustion noise With a Lochinvar WH55. All the noise is at less than 40% firing rate. After reading another thread on this site, I am questioning whether or not the issue may be due to the reduced line the propane supplier has run from the regulator, to the main, !/2" to my 3/4". I let this go on the install because 1/2" is more capacity than the little boiler needs, but am I correct to assume the reduction could still be causing a disturbance leading to the noise in the boiler itself?
