I have a few customers with this boiler....can anyone further explain the " anti condensing valve" operation to me .....the literature doesnt go too much into detail ...and all of these boilers are not piped primary secondary like the literature shows....thank you Paul S

    The anti condensing valve closes when the boiler might condense and runs the loop in the plate exchanger until the temps comes up. I don't remember the exact temps. It also closes when the flow switch for domestic is activated heating the plate exchanger. Also if the tank sensor says the tank below needs to be heated.

    The flow switch likes to stick now and then. If it does the replacement come's outside the cabinet and doesn't see as much heat.

    Ok thanks. ....i have to keep the acv manually opened for the customer to get heat....it seems like the boiler control does not power acv....once the tank meets temp ....and im not getting 24v at the t & t terminals that go to the HEATING zone valve end switches....paul s

    Could be the control. Check for continuity at the domestic flow switch to make sure it's not sticking. If it's the old style that sits on top of the plate exchanger somtimes you can take it out and clean it.
