Weil McLain mgb9 commercial hot water boiler

This boiler is used to heat a 4 story apartment building. Up until a few. Years ago, boiler worked great. Now in fall and spring, when days are warm and nighttime its cold. Boiler won't stay running without hitting reset button. If the weather is continually cold, it running great no problem. I've replaced controls, first stage gas valve, thermocouple to standing pilot. Still the same result. Anybody experience this?

What reset button are you taking about? The only "reset" I can think of that boiler would have is a manual reset on a pressuretrol. Is that it?

An LGB has a reset button on transformer. Is this the one you're pressing?

    Is this propane ?
I know propane LGB's that use pilot switch which the reset must be depressed while you light pilot, then wait for thermocouple to maintain pilot flame.
Maybe post a picture of what you've been resetting.

None of the LGB's I have ever installed had a reset button on the included transformer. MGBs had a standing pilot, no ignition control. Unless someone modified the gas train with something else.

    Pics please.

The MGB9 I'm working on has a similar issue. It seems to work fine until doesn't have to cycle normally in cold weather. It seems to take several attempts before it stops alarming out. I'm wondering if it is the photo eye not sensing that the burners are on. Ours will light OK, but after several seconds the burners will go out and the alarm sounds.
