    When large inverters fail it's often in a spectacular way. The efficiency they are capable comes at a cost if you are not very careful with the design.

    How come the other turbines are not turning? Was this one "motoring"?

    We had one in NE Nebraska burn at it was being tested. 2 guys were on board, I guess they escaped without harm. Trapdoor with escape ropes/harness saved them. Fire Marshall said he was not going up there and would wait for the crane to take it down...it had just left site a week before.
