All hot water in the house is cloudy but clears up after sitting awhile. What has caused this?

    Probably air entrained in the water. The solubility of air in water drops as temp increases. When the water cools, the air goes back into solution.

    Are you on city water or a well system?

    Probably the anode rod in your hot water tank Is over active and releasing hydrogen into the tank . Change it out especially if the tank is over 5 years old.
