    Two-pipe Trane vaporvacuum system; 1466 edr
    Twinned, staged Slantfin TR50s piped into 4" header with Riello G400 burners; 240K lead, 200K lag Btus. Controlled by Taco Relay and Honeywell RTH6580WF

    Byers wow blast from the past. My Da installed that for radiant heat in a Church in Lenox, MA the whole system failed within 2 years time. Turned out the fill the contractor used was corrosive. He will share that story as a warning to anyone who wants to install radiant heating. Talk about leaving a bad taste in your mouth. Yes he was initially sued and accused of substituting regular iron pipe for the wrought iron pipe. Forensics proved it was all Byers piping.

    The Stanley Residence is still going strong. Its on page 36.
    I have to admit it threw me for a loop when I saw it first. It was piped with bypass zone valves in the field loops for the zones, off was on and on was off. Bleed ing out was quite the scavenger hunt.
