we have a job that has several Bell and Gossett series 80 pumps for hot, and chilled water.My question is has anyone every had to replace the shaft sleeves on the pumps before, and if so what was the reason that needed to be replaced? We are in the process of replacing all the mechanical seals,some are leaking,others we are doing on a precautionary measure and the rep sent out replacement shaft sleeves as well.I don't see anything wrong with the existing sleeves, and it looks like a real pain staking task to replace them.thanks to all
