    Let me tell you what is the problem. The reason for leakage is thread which is not perfectly connected with female fitting. In cut threaded joints and Nipples, the thread is made by knife which cut the Pipe for threading due to which the profile of thread is not good and does not fit the female fitting properly. This is the reason that we need to use Tape to create a perfect connection. i will suggest you to use PCFSCT Rolled threaded Pipe Nipples in which threads are manufacture by special Rolled threading technology which make the profile of the Nipple perfect as per BSP and NPT standards. Not only this you dont need to use tape to create connection between male and female fitting by using Rolled threaded Pipe Nipples. Lastly the mechanical properties of Rolled threaded connection is very good which make it protect from getting rusty from thread part. I highly recommend PCFSCT Rolled threaded Pipe Nipples for Gas connections.
