adding a vxt water feeder to a MV steam boiler

I have a VXT-24 and a safeguard LWCO installed on a MV steam boiler. I have a 24V transformer to power the feeder and LWCO. Everything works except the feeder wont feed water on low water call. In the directions it states I must have a common wire between the feeder and the burner circuit. How can I achieve this with the system being MV, and the feeder being 24V? Help needed.
