Honeywell TRV replacement?

Options
First post here. I've searched the forums but haven't been able to find an answer, please point me in the right direction if I missed something.

I'm looking for a replacement TRV that doesn't include the entire valve body - is such a thing available? The piece I'm talking about is circled in the picture. We use Honeywell actuators and it's a two pipe system.

Thanks!

Contact the valve manufacturer, and ask if components are sold separately.

You might try checking with Supplyhouse.com. They are a favorite for many folks on here. I have found what I think is the part you're looking for. Here is the link below. Also note there is good information on the submittal sheet link.

    Hope this is helpful.

Yeah I saw that... we have 95 units, all steam heat, so it will pay for itself fairly quickly.

Anyone know of a cheaper tool? Would a regular fixed pin spanner wrench work?

Look at the tunstall website www.tunstall-inc.com
While there under the Maconcontrols tab you will notice inserts for a variety of SCV manufacturers along with inserts to turn a hand radiator valve into a scv.

the part number is "RSBRK" for the insert assembly. with that quantity we can provide a tool to remove the existing insert. you will have to purchase a new Macon operator. see the website: www.maconcontrols.com
