There are guys who come around looking for old oil trucks. They want to remove the tank, cut the frame in half, put it into a cargo bin, and reassemble overseas.
It's honestly the first thing I thought of, was seeing the truck on the news, on that grainy surveillance video crashing into a building and exploding.There was an error rendering this rich post.

This is a popular area for that too....they get loaded into containers in the port here and make their way through the Great Lakes and out to the Atlantic.
The dealer I worked for regularly auctioned full lots of used cars that didn't sell (too old, too beat up, etc) to the highest bidder...they'd show up with a car hauler, load up 5 to 12 vehicles, and take off. Sometimes the people picking them up seemed legit, other times....not so much.
