Bacharach Insight Plus

Hey Forum, I wanted some opinions on this analyzer with oil-fired equipment. I just purchased this analyzer. Works great with one problem (or potential problem). It's not reading any CO during combustion. I've tried it on a number of different appliances-furnaces, boilers-all newer. Will read up to 10ppm on start up and nothing after a few minutes. It's been back to where I bought it for testing. They test and calibrate there and it works fine. I can get CO readings outside of an appliance, where CO is present, just not in an oil-fired appliance.
Also, I've run it side by side with my UEI. All combustion numbers read almost identical, except for CO--all readings on UEI, all zeros on the Insight.
The gentleman I spoke to said analyzers without nox filters tend to show CO that isn't there.
Was wonder what anyone else's experience has been.
Thanks
Steve
p.s. I'm gonna give it a try on a gas appliance to see if it makes a difference.

When I went to the insight I saw a drastic difference from my old tester in regards to Co numbers. Most that showed 30 to 40 PPM with my old UEI showed single digit to zero with the Insight. Going on my second year with it and love it.

Don't leave it in the truck when cold overnight though. Mine did not like that and had to be sent back for a new pump.
