Return Pipes heat up supply seem cool

I have two zones and my return lines seem to warm up and get hot while my supply lines always seem cool, could my pump be pumping backwards? There is a arrow on the housing so I would think it is flowing correctly. I am calling the lines with the Taco Zone valve the supply.
