Cutting pipe insulation?

When you have yellow fiberglass with the white outer jacket pipe insulation in 3 foot lengths, what's the easiest way to cut it to length? I have a miter box and saw, hacksaws, and even a reciprocating saw. What works best?

Same as above. I had a finely serrated knife that was terrible as a kitchen implement, but great for cutting the insulation. I also built a cheap plywood miter box to deal with the size of some of my insulation, I had some 3" piping to insulate with 1 1/2" insulation so the OD was 6 1/2". My regular miter box wasn't that tall.0

I too use a serrated steak knife.
Nothing else works near as well.Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

But you can't use a hacksaw to cut your steak during break!
