Why would you want to do this?

There was an error rendering this rich post.

Looks like it's a built in unalterable function, shutting down at 70degF. So no. That should be adjustable. Is outdoor sensor on north facing wall away from sunlight and other heat?
On high-eff, simple disconnect switch on od sensor wire turned off reverts boiler back to non-od reset, standard high limit function.

    Keith,

It cannot be turned off without turning off the ODR function. In order to turn off the outdoor reset function, the setting dial at the top left corner of the controller will accomplish it.
Turn the dial in the complete counter-clockwise direction until it stops. At this point, you will not have outdoor reset and it will operate as a single zone switching relay.
As Steve said, is there a problem? Why do you need to shut off this function?

I bet the sensor is in the sun and the house is cold. Didn't notice the off position on the dial, Dave.
I still need to give this one a try. Looks easier to set up than 256. Thx for the great training experience at Taco HQ last year.

There's definitely a bit of an art in picking the right OAT location.

homeowner complains in the springtime that house is cold but warmer outside. Sensor is located on the east wall. no place to mount on the north side. Could a hood be installed over it.??
