I have a new account and the Crown 32-0475sn is done. I took all steps for new install and based everything on WM EGH 125 and now find it is a package boiler. I don't have more then 28" to get to basement. Can someone recommend a low profile (35 " to 45" high) boiler. I looked at crown and all to tall. I looked at WM LGB also to tall. Winter is on it's way and i sure could use some help from my steam head family.

The peerless 64-09 is good replacement as well-always available as a knockdown and you will save a hell of a lot a room versus the Weil McLain. The EGH-125 is usually always available as a knockdown boiler, but if it not and your to go as planned it is only 25-30 mins ( your crew) to take off the jacket and controls and gas tray. Then remove the center rods ,and rubber bands, oops I mean push nipples.
Hope it helps.1 -
And here are a few examples where we installed Intrepids that way:Bio said:The Intrepid is approved for gas

etc. etc.
On the TR-70 you'd use either the Carlin 201Gas (399,000 BTUH input, will work fine if the connected EDR load is a bit smaller than the boiler's rating) or the 301Gas (if you need the full 434,000 BTUH input). You also might look at the Midco RE4700BA which splits the difference between the 201Gas and the 301Gas.All Steamed Up, Inc.

Thank you all. I went with the EGH125. WM said that I can only split the battery in half. So I will deal with it and bring a
This 1880 system back to life again.0
