Have any of you folks converted a Rinnai tankless water heater from one gas to the other? I have a customer who has an LP one and now they are running the NAT gas line past the house.
generally speaking WH mfg frown upon this....

Call Rinnai. They have conversion kits. I believe you have to change the gas valve.

I have LP to natural. You have to change the burner plate its not bad to do.

Done a lot lately. You do have to give them the model and serial number to get the correct plate, but once you get it it is pretty easy to do. I would recommend an impact driver to break the screws loose though. Some of them strip easy without it. Also, you will need a manometer to set the pressures after you are done.
