on-demand boiler or cast iron gas boiler furnace

I am converting from oil to natural gas and I can't decide between on-demand gas boiler (95 AFUE) and cast iron gas boiler (84.4 AFUE) furnace. The 2000 sq foot house is 100 year old and has 10 radiators with lots of heating pipes in Northern VA. The furnace is located in a musty crawl space. The cost and the BTU for both options is about the same. I care more about reliability than efficiency. Any ideas?

a few other things to consider. A condensing boiler can be sensitive to ground and power issues. Make sure your panel and ground is up to spec's. Also, a crawl space is fun either way but can the system be installed and serviced if needed. Condensing boilers need to be serviced yearly. If not taken care of properly it can lead to a lot of headaches..
