heat migration

in Gas Heating
installed slantfin propane boiler in farmhouse, 3 zones. primary, secondary system. when first floor zone is heating through burnham cast iron baseboard, heat migrates through return to 2nd floor free standing radiators, radiator on 2nd floor is hot, even suppy is hot to basement, but then turns cool 20 feet before getting back to 2nd floor zone valve. ???I have more info if needed, I piped as slantfin/ burham requested\/
