Noisy Wall A/C
Carmine
Member Posts: 10
I have a Panasonic 13,500 BTU a/c that is mounted thru the wall. Yesterday, I turned it on for the first time and it sounded like a motorboat but is sending out cool air. It is 13 years old and have never had a problem. What could be the cause? Thank you

get some help and pull the unit out of it's sleeve and make sure there isn't anything hitting the fan. Also see if there is a broken motor mount. If it's deeper than that it might be time to consider a new one.
I have the same unit and it's probably a couple of years older, still runs fine.
