Made contact with a local fellow today who rescues and restores/refinishes cast iron radiators and baseboards to resell. He has some beautiful stuff. I'll be going to check some more out next week...

I contacted him to ask about any round radiators he might have... I was not disappointed! He has quite a few and they are gorgeous!

Oh. Duh! Absolutely. He's based in Duluth, MN. I've had a heckuva time finding anyone around here who deals in refurbished rads. I know I'm quite a distance from many of you but he says he delivers regularly all over the state of MN and beyond. Seems like a decent fellow.

He said he charges $12/inch of total length, therefore the deeper/taller radiators are better values.

The price is pretty high on that white round, which I fully expected. He said he has a LOT of time and money into it.

I may have misunderstood him on how many 'rounds' he has...not quite a few, but 'just' a few. My apologies in advance. I hope to swing by next week and take a look at a few myself...looking for a radiator for my basement office area. I'm

Did you ever buy any from him? Go well? I just talked to him this am and he is prepping one to send me for a job.

I didn't yet...I actually spent most of last winter working on my basement, waterproofing, insulating, and cleaning about 8 layers of paint off of the concrete floor. I wasn't sure what size radiator I would want/need for the space until I was closer to done.

But, I'm hoping to nab one from him this summer, so I can get it plumbed up and ready to go for next winter.

Glad the info was able to help you out somehow!
