Gordon and I had purchased TGO's 4-foot pipe wrench from his estate. Last week we used it to install a 4-inch steam header.

Here's the finished job. The last pic is the old, welded travesty after we tossed it on the scrap pile. It was allowing water to get up into the steam piping, and would have eventually killed the boiler by prying the sections apart from unequal expansion.

RIP, TGO. We'll use your wrench with pride.

Frankie: Caution! IF you keep using Tom's Wrench, your arms and upper body will be Massive like his were, Superman! Miss that boy and think about him Often. Right after he passed so suddenly, I spoke to Prof. Eugene about honoring him....perhaps with a scholarship in his name for young trade-school-students. Who's on board? I'll make the first donation to get the pot going. Mad Dog

Ok, I am starting the scholarship kiddie with a $100 contribution. If some of you local Wallies Join us at the July 8th picnic, we can get this thing going. Two noble causes.....advancing licensure and industry education and the Great men who inspire us: Deadman and Living-Deadmen. Mad Dog

How about donating to the Dan Holohan Scholarship in Tom's name?
