I thought I asked this years ago but can't remember what was said and couldn't find the thread.

Does anyone use Rubyfluid on potable water lines or plumbing / HVAC in general?

I can't really find any information on it, and it says one of it's applications is plumbing. Of course it says it's toxic but so does every paste flux.

Seems like it would be a lot easier to apply small amounts than a paste. Just put some on a small rag or brush and put a minimal amount on your fitting and pipe to make a clean joint.

I had some I used to do some soldering on the radiator in our company's Ford model A and it worked great.
Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment

Is it just me or does NoKorode as a flux name sound like a lie? :)
The only non-corrosive flux I know of is rosin and maybe, Silphos rod.

Everything else seems to attack metal, forever.

This is what I've been using for soft soldering pipe. But I'm really curious about the Rubyfluid.
