It's nice to be able to talk you way out of a stupid problem. You should get some stickers made up with your company name, number and a quick check list. Although the people will ignore the checklist and call you right off anyway.0

some people just suck....0

Too many people lack common sense to try and figure out just the minimum basics of how their house is supposed to work. Maybe he failed shop class or never took one.0

That's the sole reason that I moved from the DC metro area out to Winchester. It's been about 15 years since I moved from the city and now people from there are moving out here and commuting to the city. People used to wave when you passed them on the back roads, not anymore. I'm running out of places to move!0 -
Rob its like that all over. People just do not know how to be friendly after its been supressed through mistrust in a big city, or burb setting.
Have gone through that 20 years ago.Lived in a man made lake subdivision. Very few homes to start. everyone waved knew one another. Then gas was cheap wages in the city were high, and property taxes out by us were low, and housing cheap. Everyone
iin the city moved out here. Then wanted to bring their big city ways with them.

Interesting, I don't whether to hit the like or dislike button. I like what you said but I dislike what is happening.1 -

Hey Rob I dislike it. After I sold the second house I built I protested the property taxes. While at the accessors office a guy was standing there protesting his to another person. "I moved out here because taxes were cheap". Yeah with all the influx of population from the city, people enjoyed sky rocketing property values including the locals.....then taxes caught up.
When gas shot through the roof, and took profits from city wage earners with their commuting. People started either getting out of dodge, or losing their house because they had to settle for a lower paying job closer to,home.
In that time frame the town built new schools with the newly taken tax money to handle the influx of population which later , and now it turns out is vaporizing, and we can't hardly afford to staff the new schools, or come close to filling them.
Am I starting to sound a little like Ice yet.sorry for the rant. I hate rude people......is that rude?2 -
