Someone asked me this question. Any help would be appreciated.

What size piping is needed for 600 gallons per minute #4 oil at 300 psi?

be glad to help but need more info.
    How much pressure drop?
If you come off the pump at 300psi, what pressure do you need at the end of the line, example 290psi, 295psi? How many fittings and elbows in the pipe system. What is the length of run??

And important for oil because the viscosity changes rapidly when heated, what temperature will the oil be at? Tank temp 50 deg? heated for burning, usually 110-120 for #4 oil.

I would just like to know what you would need 600 GPM for? Are you burning it or transferring it?
