There's some kind of diverter but I never understood how it works other than when the sprayer is open, it automatically goes to that.
Can you shut the sprayer off, or is the spray handle stuck on some how? If so, that will cause it.Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment0 -
Might be crud, gravel, sand built up inside the diverter. You could get lucky by removing the whole assembly and blowing compressed air & water backwards thru the sprayer line and faucet. Don't exceed normal water pressure, I'd keep it lower when blowing reverse.0

Gotta make and model? Is this a faucet with separate sprayer, or a pull out faucet with a spray/stream diverter?0
